Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Develops and Maintains an enterprise workstation imaging / deployment methodology
Develops and execute plan for increasing overall desktop platform optimization and standardization
Ensure correct installation, configuration, use and maintenance of the Microsoft SCCM Platform.
Oversee group policy including review of existing policies and proposed changes
Create and manage application deployment objects for new and existing software
Establish and maintain Software Library
Manage deployment of all patches, critical updates and service packs on a timely basis
Maintain ongoing communications with support teams regarding application issue resolution and general workstation management support
Provide 3rd level support for local Desktop Support Operations
Work with key platform vendors for support to resolve issues as well as platform strategy development
Coordinate applications release with ITAM, GIS and Stakeholder
Liaise with Global Information Security Team to ensure compliancy and address vulnerabilities in our environment
Provide technical assistance to support groups as needed
Monitor Microsoft SCCM Platform health and mitigate identified problems
Work on special projects as needed
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in any Computer related course or equivalent
At least 2 years’ experience working as SCCM Administrator for a global organization and 5 years’ experience as a Desktop Support Engineer
Working experience in designing, implementing and supporting SCCM 2012 with specifics to OSD Management, Software Patching in a global organization is a plus.
A+ certification or equivalent is a plus.
Knowledgeable in SQL writing and querying
Strong proficiency in Microsoft network environment.
Strong diagnostic capabilities and solid problem solving skills.
Possess strong customer orientation and excellent interpersonal skills.
Flexibility and an ability to multitask is needed.
Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills. Excellent oral and written English skills are required.
Must be available to work off-business hours when required.
